Me again, but who else would be typing on my blog..
I forgot to post after my last appt on the 9th. OK well I didn't forget, I've just been crazy busy and tired.. So what's a few extra days.
The check up went well, both babies have strong heartbeats and look good the doc said. The stitch is still right where it is suppose to be and my cervix looks normal. No changes, it's not shorter and isn't funneling at all so far, so this is a great thing.
We also hoped to get to see what the little ones were, but even though the doc did both a normal and an internal ultrasound we couldn't see. The babies are too small to tell on the belly ultrasound so it would have to be an internal, and well when doing that one they have to be bum down. It just happens that on this day they both decided they didn't want to be bum down and no matter how we moved or poked they were not going to budge.
FINE!!!! ha ha So my "big" ultrasound is on June 5th. They will check the heart, brain, liver, kidneys, all that stuff, and then see if they can see what sex they are. Those buggers better let mamma bear see..
So that is the update for now.
I see the midwife for a checkup on the 29th and then the ultrasound on June 5th so I'll be updating then. So just like me you all have a few more weeks before you will know what these babies are..

March 7, 2007
So far so good (knock on wood).. We did the walk on the 5th and I took my time, did what I could and sat when I needed to (at the end) (you can see the pics on Aiden's blog).
Life has been normal since the procedure and besides streatching ligaments in areas I call the "unknown" the has been no pain or cramps. I do take it easy just from my past history, I don't walk all that much either. If I were not pregnant and didn't have a cerclage and didn't have the history I've had, i think I'd be out more with the nice weather walking, but luckly I have a baby boy who just loves being out side and doesn't need me pushing him all around creation. He is fine just sitting on the porch with me watching traffic go by.
I see the doctor on Wed (the 9th) and will have an ultra sound and check up. Hopefully all looks good the babies are growing strong and this cerclage is doing it's job. I'll let you all know what she says Wed, til then enjoy the weather, tomorrow is suppose to be 82 here in Boston.
xoxo
